stained glass.
within the quiet corners of summer days passed,
colour fills every nook of my small world.
a stained glass mirage of primary hues,
shades of ribbons, painted across wooden floors.
patches dance in the hues of a warm afternoon,
in all of its fragile shades, dashes across the walls.
waves of an image most splendour could be found,
glinting amongst the stars, in all its broken forms.
a sunshine spill of melting tones,
in the hallway of my childhood afternoon.
